Yes, but none of those countries would sit at the table without veto power. So, the UN is just irrelevent..period. (With the exception of UNICEF)

I think the actions of the Bush Administration and their current wave of torturing and illegally spying on people - basically doing what we used to complain about and villify the Soviets for doing - has proven that the U.N. is about as useful as t*ts on a bishop!
