One of the best remedies for a sour stomach is Yogurt with active culture. Wal Mart has an excellent Blended Vanilla Yogurt with active culture and the quart size sells for a little over $2.00. About three tablespoons after a meal will help. Don't expect the cure to be instant but after a couple of weeks, the problem should go away.

Natural remedies include mints or mint extract, ginger ale, and Coke syrup (used by the U.S. Navy for nausea). Over-the-counter remedies include Pepto-Bismol, Mylanta, Maalox, Tums, Rolaids, Philips Milk of Magnesia, and Dramamine (but Dramamine is more for motion sickness).
