My favorite Ricespeak was to the 911 commission. I watched her testimony when they asked her why no action was taken against the al queda since Clinton was in office. More specifically the threat assessment on the presidential memo each day. Her response was that the memo was too vague. "It mentioned something about Bin Laden using planes to attack the US." Pretty vague to me.
Let me see we know they intend to use planes. They tried to bomb the trade center before, hmmm. I wonder if they will use planes to attack the trade center? Too vague to deduce that with the little evidence.

They are all coached and trained by many advisers and attorneys. Do you remember when the media was pressing for an actual link to September 11th and Saddam Hussein? It was almost like listening to a tape recorder. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and Powell could only say Saddam was a "bad man who tortured thousands people." For the love of this country, do they honestly think that Americans are that stupid. Do think that only Al Qaeda are the only people who think that they are lying imbeciles? Maybe, a change will come before the elections in 2008. The only way that will happen is if the truth is leaked. I am really interested to see if Woodward's book has them sweating as much as it is being reported. It doesn't seem as though the White House has given any real comment.

So she says that there were a stream of reports about potential attacks. Which one is the real one? If I gave you 1000 ways i was going to kill you but never gave you a time, how would you prepare for it?
Your reading comprehension needs work hero...guess you didn't pay attention in class.

She's saying that the claims by whoever about specific info on US attacks is a LIE! They were getting vague reports about attacks, but nothing specific, nothing actionable.
This is what she's been saying all along. I have no reason to disbelieve her.
Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing. You should try it.
