All the sheets I buy are loose and bunch up and come off. Or they are just plain oversized. I just have a regular 12" deep queen mattress.

Why is it so diffucult to find sheets that fit correctly nowadays?

Unfortunately this is a sign of the times. your mattress is of older contruction and unless you can find sheet sets made specifically for a couch bed matress they will always be bunchy like that. One thing that may work is to buy the little elastic things that clip on to you sheets to prevent them from pulling up at the corners. If you pull the matress super tight and clip those above the bulk, the sheets won't slip and it will look much smoother at the corners.

Its because your matress is only 12" deep. Most sheets are made for matresses that are deeper, mine is 18" deep and I don't have a problem finding sheets to fit. I would suggest going to a bed and bath store and buy quality sheets. They wont be cheap, but they will fit better, be more comfortable and last a lot longer.

My mattress is 20 inches deep, I wish I had your problem, just look for regular sheets, not deep pocket. I can't find any to fit mine expcept ones that cost $120.00. Do you have a TJ MAXX. or Tuesday morning, they have good sheets at good priced.

Find a store named Bed,Bath and Beyond it has everything for the bed and bath and then some. They are a little exspensive but well worth it cause they will last longer. Good luck .
