A heterosexual mutually consensual relationship with an overage person is hardly the stuff of outrage for anyone but his wife and his God. Something the Republicans never quite 'got' in their game of 'gotcha'. Especially since at the same time at least five members of Congress had to leave for exactly the same reason, although without the millions of dollars spent on 'getting' Clinton.
As of this morning Foley has announced that he is in rehab for alcoholism and his e-mails were not just over friendly as first put out, but truly obscene and upsetting to the 16 year old boys who had gotten them over the years.

Let's stop with the insinuations and rumors. The correspondence has seen the light of day after being suppressed almost a year. Let's let justice takes its course. Witch hunts will only taint the case. (Not a conservative, but believe such investigations should be ironclad.)

Same advice to AT, who is starting stories that Clinton SLEPT with interns. Geez, give us a break. And Foley is only seeking help after his alleged deeds were about to be broken wide open in the press. The Congressmen who suppressed this for months should have forced him to get help months ago, not made him promise not to do it again. And Clinton's activity with Lewinsky was with a consenting adult. It was clearly bad judgment, but not warranting a multi-millon dollar free-ranging investigation. He was never found guilty of anything except trying to hide something which was not worthy of the Congress' distraction from the business of the people. Nothing on Travelgate, nothing on Whitewater, nothing on MonicaGate.

I am not sure what Foley's stand is. However, I wish that people expressed the same moral outrage when Clinton took advantage of women while in an office of power. Somehow, lying to a grand jury about this and sleeping with interns is okay and none of our business, but emails some congressman wrote is a huge moral issue. I am not saying it isn't a moral issue, but Foley is seeking help, resigned, and the other Reps are ensuring a full investigation is done. Where was the Dems moral outrage over Clinton and other public deviants?

Republicans are a real piece of work,,, their boy says he thinks he might be an alcoholic,, so he wants forgiveness for illicit behavior involving a young page boy,, possibly more than one underage teen,, while at the same time working with Congress on legislation to prevent sexually exploiting children,, abusing his power,, condoned by the speaker of the Peoples House,, Dennis Hastert, and other GOP leaders, and continuing to receive funding from the Republican party,, not to mentioned,, he is paid by the taxpayers,, the whole Bush team are corrupt,, they have bankrupt America fiscally and morally.

I see AT and other faithful to the crusade of Bush are still blaming Clinton for ther immorality

as far as i have read, he was ok with females and Bill Clinton. Foley actually prefers little boys like Michael Jackson unfortunately.
