if you did, what did you make of the rankings? what cartoons that were ranked lower should've got higher rankings? were there cartoons which were omitted or absent from the list that should've been included? what would be your personal top ten favourite cartoons? which ones should've NOT been on the list in your opinion? for me, thundercats would be my all-time no#1, with the simpsons, spongebob squarepants, johnny bravo, futurama, top cat, dynomutt: dog wonder and blue falcon, tom and jerry, south park and the jetsons in no particular order.
what are your choices? by the way, i don't want people being abusive when commenting on mine and other people's choices. of course, you don't have to agree with them but i don't want you slagging me off. i will monitor your responses and will report you if you try to be offensive to myself or anyone else posting their comments on this subject

I saw it! I hated it!
Maybe cause I was too busy watching the music channels, but those really old cartoons really scared me!
I'd probably say my favourite cartoon is futurama...I don't know. I don't really know why I'm answering this, just ot acknowledge that I did actually watch it!

Yes i watched it the other night. Fantastic stuff. My youth re-visited.
I loved Ren and Stimpy and the clip they showed was from the funniest episode i ever saw. when stimpy farted and claimed it was his son - then named him Stinky! Quality!!
I agree Simpsons did and always will deserve to be number one. I've split my sides laughing at homer so many times it's untrue - especially one bit - where he answers the phone and says "you'll have to speak up i'm wearing a towel!" Homer rules!!
Family guy deserved it's place in the top 10 also - some of the jokes on that are so close to the bone, i'm sure they can only get away with this coz it's a cartoon.

To be fair i only tuned in half way through and i was disappointed not to see "Stopit and Tidy Up" another quality cartoon...did anyone else watch it?

Yup and throughly enjoyed it.
Simpsons No1. I suppose it is the most popular, but like most i was brought up on the Looney Toones cartoons
Top 5 as a kid.

Family Guy should have got number one cause of the sheer genius humour! Simpsons deserved it yes as they have been popular for a long time and are worth a chuckle, but as I've gotten older, its family guy all the way!
My boyfriend cannot understand how Fantasia managed to get a higher position than Thundercats! lol.

ive watched this programe twice, and what i want to know is why on earth you had some japnesse animi films higher than british cutral programs, for example the magic roundabout.
Also I am a massive 80's cartoon fan, what i want to know if why what ones that were in the top 100 were all really the ones with the boys market in mind. What about strawberry shortcake, my little pony, care bears, rainbow brite that kinda thing?.

I though the rankings sucked. Thundercats indeed should have been higher.
The anime shoulden't of been there, cos it is not really a cartoon for kids.

No I did not see it. I like Drawn Together, Venture Brothers, Bird man, South Park, Sponge Bob, and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
