Yes and no, it takes a lot of skill to play poker. But let me give you an example, those same guys you see at the world series of poker every year get there because they are very skillful players, but to win the tourny you have to get lucky.

Poker is probably 60% luck, 20% skill and 20% is down to having the nuts to bluff when your sat on nothing much hand wise. Takes a lot of time (and money if you're not carefull) to learn properly.

No. Luck plays a factor in the game sure. Luck plays a factor in all things in life. And it is not a game of bluff, I would like to play against someone who thinks that.

i play on ladbrookes poker and believe its just luck i had a full house and someone pulled four of a kind i think its just about the person in hand

It can be, but it's all about how you pay the game... It's all about reading people too... You could have a good hand, but someone could try to bluff you, make you get out of the game and actually win w/ a bad hand... It's knowing what you have to do at the right time...
