I am having trouble finding information on the neighborhood I live in which is the southside of chicago and how it looked 200 years ago. Is there a site where I can go to or something?

My whole area was developed 58 years ago .
This was all woods along the Darby creek in Pa.

Check out your public library, or go to you county, or state surveyors office. They should have old records or pictures of your area on file.

chances are there was not much there....so take a look around and in your mind get rid of the homes and people and you have it
