how can I lift the audio off of a dvd and put it on cd. Is it possible??

It is possible. Rip the DVD, then run the data through an audio program, compress it to fit it on a CD (if needed) and then burn it!

As Above, Only if you want the CD for a CDplayer you'll need the right format
