Did Shawn leave Days for good? Or is he on vacation?

Jason Cook left Days to pursue other interest. I believe he is wanting to direct or produce. He wanted to leave earlier but he wanted the chance to work closer with Farah Fath. Brandon Beemer is going to be the new Shawn D. Brady. I think he may take a while to get used to just like when Kristen Storm left and Martha Madison took over the role of Belle.

The original Shawn left to pursue other acting opportunities.There is a new Shawn now.

He's gone for good. I didn't think I'd like the new Shawn but although he doesn't look as good as the original Shawn his acting skills are phenomenal. I heard that Belle and Phillip are leaving too.....

I don't know but the new Shawn is butt-ugly. He looks like Curious George with a herion addiction.

he is gone for good. he didn't renew his contract because he wanted to do movies. I will miss him, this new Shawn doesn't compare
