originally it was between 30-35 centuries. But recent discoveries put that date far back. The problem is that Pyramids are in the Egypt, they are national treasure. Egypt as a Muslim country cannot accept that something there can possibly be older than Prophet Mohamed told regarding The Creation. Last time radiology tests did show that Pyramids are at least 6 thousands years old (60 centuries) and it's still not final

The step pyramid at Saqqara was around 2770 BC This was one of the earliest ones
