I am currently 4 weeks and a few days pregnant, and when I went into the doctors today, the test came out negative, which all the others have come out positive... what I am wondering is, could it be because I am peeing every 15 minutes, and the urine is pretty well crystal clear, that is why it was negative today.
The doc said it is probable that is what happened, and sent me in for a blood test, but I just thought that was REALLY weird, never had it happen to be before with my daughter.

U had a test for a UTI as well -- and it was negative, he said my urine is good. But just to take the blood test for pregnancy.

Frequent urination IS an early sign of pregnancy as well as urinary tract infection. The blood test is HCG, human chorionic gonadatropin. I wish you the best in your outcome.

If you know that you are defiantly pregnant your doctor should be able to tell with a physical examination.
He/She should have also ordered a blood work for this.

If your Doctor agreed that the reason your test is coming out negative because of your frequent urination and it becoming crystal clear, then let me suggest that you quickly find a different doctor.
I recommend an OB and not a General Practitioner....

You will not urinate every 15 minutes at this early of a pregnancy unless you possibly have a track infection or a kidney infection..
Please make sure you follow through with the blood work, and then take it from there..

Best of luck.......

If the blood test comes out positive but the urine test stay negative ask your doctor for a ultrasound. This is wierd I never heard of it before.

You obviously already know that you're pregnant for sure. The blood test will confirm it soon. I peed a lot in the first trimester too and I heard it was due to the change in hormones and taking prenatal pills. I was also always thirsty and drank tons of water everyday so that made me pee more too. Good luck!

My guess is that it is your pee. With the home pregnancy test your supposed to test with your first pee of the day. So, by the time you got to the doctors you used the restroom one to many times. The blood test will be accurate through. Congrats!

when i went to confirm that i was pregnant with my first daughter i asked the nurse if it could be wrong (the home preg. test) and she told me that pregnancy tests can give false negative ( what you had ) but they can NEVER give a false positive result !! so it might say no and be wrong, but never yes and be wrong.

don't worry you probably just got a faulty test

if your only 4 weeks you shouldnt be peeing every 15 minutes yet.
that doesnt happen until the babys big enough to put pressure on your bladder.
you probably have a urinary tract infection which is common at such an early stage to make you pee so often.
