If so, what is good to eat there? Does it taste like real German food? Is there anything for a vegetarian to eat? When is a good time to go? Thanks!

I've been there a few times - it's a lot like the real one in Munich!
It's a lot of fun. They have German bands playing hokey Oktoberfest style music most afternoons and evenings.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I can recommend their radish salad, pretzels, and definitely their desserts.
My favorite dish they have is Weisswurst. Real Munich style bratwurst. Definitley worth becoming an omnivore for. The real Hofbrau beer is very good.
It's never been too crowded when I was there. I think more people go to the Hard Rock, right across the street. But it's a good place to go to get a break from the whole Vegas scene. Eat a lot, drink a lot, then go gamble some more.
Viel spass! Have fun!

Yeah, 25 years ago. If we are talking about the same place. I was underage and used a fake id to buy beer and throw peanut shells on the floor. The Mormon girl I took didn't put out either although she was beautiful.
