First, make sure that what you wear is NOT the same color as your background. Next, decide how you are going to wear your hair. Usually it's a good idea to leave it down, because you don't know how a ponytail is going to look. Next, remember that you want a color that goes with your skin tone, and it's best to stay away from anything with complex patterns, solid bright colors work best. As far as what you wear on the bottom, it doesn't matter because it usually won't show. Pick something that makes you look and feel comfortable and confident. If you are going to wear makeup, make sure that you dont' overdo, because it's better to look natural than look like you're going to a party. Many people overdo makeup and end up looking cheap, or overdressed for their school photos. Remember, that most people won't be looking at your clothes, they'll be looking at your face. So remember to smile, and you'll usually end up with a decent school photo. But good luck! :-)

If your lucky, you might get 1 or 2 people look at your picture after 1 yr of graduation. I have a year book from HS that I have not looked at in prob 5 yrs, and I might have looked at 2 times since I graduated. Simply put, unless you plan on living in your HS years throughout the remainder of your life (i.e. Al Bundy), it really doesn't matter what you wear because hopefully you will be able to do more with your life than to be remembered from more than just your HS picture.

Colors that match with your eyes are probably the best to go with. if you have brown eyes, try wearing a blue shirt or a pink shirt. if you have green eyes, wear yellow or black. blue eyes-light blue or white shirt. to me those colors make eyes stand out and i think that a picture is better with easy to see eyes. it brightens the picture. also, depending on how you do your hair also matters. if you leave your hair down, a lower cut shirt (with a necklace) usually looks ok. If you put your hair up, a not so low cut shirt (without a necklace). huge earings aren't that flattering for a school yearbook picture unless if its your senior pictures but thats a whole different topic.
Good luck.

Make sure you don't wear a ponytail or you'll end up looking like a guy! Yea, I've made that mistake before. Anyway, if you know what background you are getting choose what colors you think would look good from there. Good luck and I hope you look great!

As a male, I hate shirts it truly is scratchy and would't even take up sweat. it really is reminiscent of wearing plastic. I also hate maximum jeans because they are so tight, heavy, uncomfortable, and limit my circulation. really at the same time as i take advantage of tight belt too, each and every time I easily have flatulence or diarrhea, the end result will change into better :(

Where a cute top that flatters your skin tone and nice classy makeup...that never goes out of style...no one can see what you'll be wearing from the waist down anyway!

not to much writing on your shirt....try something simple so that the first thing you see is your face, not your outift. maybe a v-neck or a cute polo...depends on how you wear your hair, infront or behind your ears...w/e u do don't wear it all up!

who cares?
in four years, you'll have completely gotten over highschool, and you wont even remember half the people you went to school with.
it's not a big deal, i promise.
