Frank was shoved roughly into the wall, and his back smarted from the pain. The angry man was showing him absolutely no mercy at all. The attack seemed mindless, robotic. Frank barely heard when his attacker growled at him, "just give in now, Hardy."

"I'll never help you," frank countered weakly. He was rewarded with a slap on the face which had the effect of merely masking the pain in his back, but only briefly.
