What do "liberal values" have to do with anything in the war in Iraq? We're fighting the war in Iraq to defend an administration who cannot admit they were wrong. Period.

We fought the war in Iraq for several reasons. Main reason, Saddam was a threat to stability and held blatantly anti western values. Second main reason, he was sponsoring terrorists who have a goal of killing you and I. Third reason, there was a profit to be made by attacking a regime that clearly, one day, would be one that would take many American lives.
We continue fighting the war for one reason, to keep Iran from coming in and taking over Iraq. The number one complaint the Iraqis have is that we do not keep Iranians from coming over and thwarting the efforts for stabilization. The number one fear of Iraqis is that we will leave before they can defend themselves from an invasion from Iran.

We're fighting for the concept of personal liberty. In this country, that's actually a conservative value, but over there it would be an extremely liberal value.

we are in this war to defend conservative values: big business, corporate nepotism, corruption, etc.
and liberals are the only ones with values anymore. Going to war so big business will fund your reelection campaign is morally wrong.
