On the ticketmaster website when searching for tickets for a concert in December it says tickets currently not on sale....Does this mean sold out ? or does it mean these particular tickets have not been released yet ? Thanks.

Tickets have not been released yet. Be sure of the time when the tickets will go 'On Sale' and check back. Or 'refresh' the screen.

Good luck. Hope you get front row seats!

Betcha its Tenacious D. But I had the same problem. I added the page in favorites and every so often I checked it. Eventually they put out a few more tickets and i snatched 2 up very quickly. If u av the same prob as me, i'd recommend doin that. There is only 2 other things that cud b wrong
Tickets arent out
Or tickets are sold out completely.
If u still need a ticket, but the "buy and sell" magazine and go 2 there website. They r goin 4 a lot on ebay so i'd keep that 4 a last resort.

on ticketmaster it could mean either. if the tickets are already on sale it means they have sold out. ussually if they have not been put up for sale it will have an available from date at the side. you should try www.seetickets.com as this is a much better ticket site i feel. it gives you tracking numbers when you order tickets and is much clearer than ticketmaster.

Phone ticketmaster - I have found their website very confusing sometimes so I usually phone to cfheck things I am not sure about - the staff on the phones are usually very good but you have to put up with an annoying robot for a few mins before a real person will deal with you.
Have a great day!
