i'm a beatles fan yet even I could bypass with love reign o'er me! that is a much greater dynamic and useful music than an afternoon interior the existence! are not getting me incorrect,the two are large songs,yet love reign o'er me gets my vote!

It's a common contraction of over, used in old poetry and lyrics to force "over" into a rhythm pattern. "O'er the ramparts we watched..." and things like that. Pronounced "or."

It means over but in music when they put it like that they want you to pronounce it with out the "v". But in order to make it sound like it is supposed to & not like "or" I would put a very light "v" in there. So the "v" is very light & quick. Hope I helped.
