Is there ne provision to lock a cellphone when lost?

i have lost my Nokia 1100 cellphone n wanna knw how to lock (or rather make it useless for the thief),don't have the IMEI or ne other required details abt the cell,if ne one wud help me with this matter wud be gr8.

You have to call your provider and cancel THAT phone, not your service.
