I would pray for the judge on this one. Mark is awesome. I listen to him on WABC all the time.

This comment is for people who do not understand how bounty hunting works.

Dog owns a bail bond business and captures fugitives who do not keep their commitments. Part of the bond is to show up for court. Since he puts his money on the line, he has the right to protect it. If the fugitive does not go to court and they are not captured, the bond is forfeited. I am not sure if you understand this.

He does a lot of good. To extradite him on what is basically a misdemeanor is a crime. Considering that the Mexican government aids illegals to cross into the US, they do not deserve a minor warrant to be honored.

I haven't heard anything about his future legal counsel. I'm too pissed at The Dog. I watched his cable show totally believing this man was for real and he got a contract on A&E because of his whole persona and entertainment value. I liked it and got a kick out of watching him and his uh, unusual wife, and how he was all buffed out and they'd all get all psyched and wound up about who they were hunting like it was Osama bin Laden and they'd always turn out to be ordinary people who'd missed their court date for whatever reason and violated their bail bond. I never saw him having to really get into a long pursuit or a physically threatening circumstance.
The day he and his crew got arrested shocked me and when I found out that it was for illegal bounty hunting in another country and that he never went back for HIS OWN court appearance in Mexico I realized what a huge hypocrite he'd been all along with. To find out that he got his own show on A&E with a multi-million dollar contract with that already on his back made me sick. He deserves getting extradicted back to Mexico and whatever sentence comes of it. It seems only appropriate that his TV reality show comes to an end. I met Duane Chapman last October at Venice Beach, CA and thought he was on the real, but now I know he's just like everyone else and not some bad 'ol dawg catching the bad guys (who are actually his peers all along).
Thanks for reading my b*tching session. Now I rest my case, thank you.

Personally, I hope he's extradited to Mexico.
