Try unplugging the printer for about thirty seconds.

While it is unplugged, see if there is a printer icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen on the toolbar (pass your mouse arrow over the icons slowly, and a block of text will appear telling you what each symbol stands for).

Click on the printer icon and cancel out all print jobs.

Plug your printer up again. See if that stops it.

What do you have your printer connected with? USB or parallel port? If you're using a parallel port I suggest switching it to USB. The simple explanation is your computer is talking too fast for your printer so it's just spitting out junk. It should be able to communicate better on a USB. Try it out!!
