In the light of molecular behaviour,how does the cultivation of soil help in the growing of plants?

I believe the greatest benefit comes from the oxygen that is added to the soil as the ground is turned. Tilled land also makes it easier for water to get to the roots.

Hi. It breaks up the clumps of soil so the roots have an easier time, allows for better water distribution, mixes nutrients more evenly... Is that what you need?
