It seems like there is nothing I want to see lately, not even artsy stuff!! The most intriguing movie out right now is Jackass 2!! And, when is Hollywood going to stop making these cheese-ball tortured macho hero movies, like The Guardian and Fly-Boys? ugh.

Are they making money? I wonder because Hollywood keeps moaning about the decline in movie ticket sales. If they actually put out and marketed decent movies, they'd make money.

...and I'm not bagging on Jackass 2. I loved #1. I'm just saying, it's not a "movie", with a plot and actors. I'm sure it's funny as hell, but it isn't a story.

I agree with you. Doesn't anyone in Hollywood have any original ideas either? They've remade or are in the process of remaking just about everything! Also, how about all the sequels and prequels! Nothing original! It's aggravating. I could come up with some way better ideas than half of those people in Hollywood! I'm sure most of us "regular" people could.

Well, I am not necessarily depressed by the lack of decent movies, I'm just not too surprised. I think in recent years Hollywood has cranked out more and more worthless and uninspired cinema. I have found satisfaction in independent films, documentaries, and foreign films. If you are looking for some unique and refreshing films, try just about anything from those genres and you will be pleased. Also, don't be afraid of looking to the old classics.

Eh... Hollywood has been in the crapper for about the last 15 years. Nothing much original, just remakes or comic book super heroes. Pfft!

26. Prostitutes continuously appear as if Julia Roberts or Jamie Lee Curtis. they have high priced clothing and effective residences yet no pimps. they're friendly with the shopkeepers of their neighbourhood who don`t innovations in any respect what the female does for a residing.
