How do you deal with sluggish Mondays besides skipping work and staying in the bed?

You just have to face it ... if you skipped work, then Tuesday would just become your Monday :)

Go to bed early the night before; eat a good breakfast Monday morning and think positive, and most of all try to keep a calm spirit. Few people like Monday mornings, for some reason everything seems to go wrong on that day. Best of luck to you.

I think Mondays are a mindset. You literally have to wake up and force yourself into a positive attitude to actually get there. In addition to mindset and messing around on Y! answers for the first couple hours of Monday morning, some stretching and a huge soy latte always helps me out!

I like having a cup of Hot Chocolate. It's kind of like comfort food the first thing in the morning.
