Sadly we'll never know. I believe he would've won at least two or three championships and right around 70 to 80 races. Davey and Alan were my favorite Ford guys. Boy 93 was a tough year for racing .

I agree with you, I think he would have at least a couple of championships under his belt by now. What a sad loss of talent. Rest in peace, Davey, we miss you!

I think he had a hell of a future ahead of him in Nascar. I'm pretty sure he would've done great things. I have often wondered what Nascar would be like if Earnhardt, Kulwicki, Allison,Bonnet, and others were still alive.

He sure had the look of a champion. His team was good then, the cars were fast, and he sure could drive. It's a tragedy, especially the way he died, not even in a car, but a stupid helicopter trying to fly it himself.

He could've been great champion.

He was on his way to being where Jeff Gordon is today. He had the skill, the crew, and the car. Had that happened? Jeff would be Like Dale Jarrett. good but not the superstar.

i'm pretty sure he would have had a very strong career and have done very well. however, there is no way to gage exactly what he could have done with thie competition, since he really didn't race with them. it would ahve been awesome if he was still on the track to see what he could have done!! i agree, i'm sure he would have joined those ranks for a multi-time champion.

Hard to tell....because there are currently a lot of really talented drivers out there. He may have done well, or maybe not. We would have to compare him to the guys out there today.
