I work in a school durning school time, but this summer I don't work and don't get paid. I need a good summer job, but when and where should I apply? Should I get more than 1 job?

Waitressing is always a good job because of the tips; I've heard of people making 100-200 bucks in tips on a Saturday night!

Try working at an amusement park. From what I understand they pay well and you get a bonus if you stay through the whole season. They usually start hiring about a month before they open, check out their web sites. Good luck

But a good summer job might be serving. The tips are sometimes huge and the hours are often short.

If it's money you are looking for, try tree planting. You can earn a lot of money over a relatively short period of time. Warning, it is a tough job with little comforts, but you can earn quite a lot over a couple of months.
