I've only been to Europe, never to mid-east.

Europe actually reminded me of America.

More like the Middle East. Europe doesnt have the mindless pro-war conservative hatemongers with no refined culture the US does.Sad.

western europe is 2nd world and less advanced then the usa

generalization - we've become much closer to the oppressive, cold-war era soviet union than ever before. In the name of fear and protection we are willing to give up our basic rights of privacy, etc. That's a little scary.

I'm apparently in the minority - I don't want gov't officials listening in on my phone calls - call me crazy.

Neither. However if the libs have thier way, they want us to be exactly like europe. I however rather be an American.
