no both will hav the same effect
due to the force of gravity
as accleration due to gravity remains the same (9.8)

The energy exerted on the egg as it travels through the air has to go somewhere at impact. So once the shell breaks the contents of the egg will continue to travel, in whatever direction is available, until gravity overcomes the velocity of the yolk/albumen. The velocity of the egg certainly affects the splatter upon impact.

Hi. Only if the egg breaks. I've seen a pretty good throw get caught without the shell breaking.

Yes but the only way to know is to try it and see. Toss some eggs drop some eggs pitch some eggs.
