HELP! distribute and combine these for me PLEASE, i dont know how to find the answer. AND SHOW ALL YOUR WORK

HINT- I don't want to know wat x equals, I need you to disribute and combine. I asked this question a little while ago and every1 told me wat x equals, that is not wat I want 2 kno.

ex= 4x+3x-15=2x-8+6-x ; 7x-15=x-2

1.) -2(x + 5) - 7 = 3x + 2(x - 5)

2.) 3(4x + 2) - 6x = 5x - 5(2+ x)

3.) 5(6x - 1) - 10x + 5 = 4(x + 10) - 4x

4.) -6(4 - x) + 12 = 3x - (x - 4)

1.
-2x-10 -7 =3x + 2x -10
-2x -17 = 5x -10

2.
3(4x + 2) -6x = 5x -5(2x +x)
12x +6 -6x = 5x -10x -2x
6x + 6 = -7x

3.
5(6x - 1) - 10x + 5 = 4(x + 10) - 4x
30x -5 -10x +5 =4x -40 -4x
24x = -40

4.
-6(4 - x) + 12 = 3x - (x - 4)
-24 +6x +12 = 3x - x -4
-12 +6 x = 2x -4

Whew! Hope this is what you wanted!!
Good Luck!

I agree with the previous poster that SOLVE means find the value of the variable (in this case, X). But the previous poster did not get X by itself. You need another step.

1) -2(x+5) - 7 = 3x + 2(x-5)

First distribute the number outside the parentheses to each term inside the parentheses to remove the parentheses.
-2x -10 -7 = 3x +2x -10

Now combine like terms.
-2x -17 = 5x -10

I do not like negative values for X, so I am going to add 2x to both sides of the equation.
-2x -17 (+ 2x) =5x -10 (+ 2x)
-17 = 7x - 10

Add 10 to both sides to isolate X as a single term on the right.
-17 (+10) = 7x -10 (+10)
-7 = 7x

Divide both sides by the coefficient of X (in this case, 7).
(-7)/7 = (7x)/7
-1 = x
x= -1

Final step: to check your work, put the value you found for X back into your original equation. If the original equation is true with your value, then you know you did the problem right. If it is false, then go back and redo your steps to find your error.
-2[(-1) +5] -7 = 3(-1) +2[(-1) - 5]
-2(4) - 7 = -3 +2(-6)
-8 -7 = -3 -12
-15 = -15 (TRUE, therefore the answer (X = -1) is correct.)

Sorry, I didn't understand what you wanted in the other question. Try to be a bit more precise in how you state your questions in the future. But, anyway...

1.
-2(x + 5) - 7 = 3x + 2(x - 5)
-2x-10-7=3x+2x-10
-2x-17=5x-10

2.
3(4x + 2) - 6x = 5x - 5(2+ x)
12x+6-6x=5x-10-5x
6x+6=-10

3.
5(6x - 1) - 10x + 5 = 4(x + 10) - 4x
30x-5-10x+5=4x+40-4x
20x=40

4.
-6(4 - x) + 12 = 3x - (x - 4)
-24+6x+12=3x-x+4
6x-12=2x+4

when a question says solve it means find 'x'

they're all the same so the first one is:
1) multiply out all the brackets to get:
-2x - 10 - 7 = 3x + 2x - 10
2) Now you need to put all the 'x's on one side and all the normal numbers on the other. The x's are usually on the left and rmbr when you move a number to the other side of the equals sign it becomes opposite, so 3 would become -3.

-2x - 3x -2x = -10 + 10 +7

3) dont be put off by 'x's its simply liek adding normal numbers.
so: -2x-3x-2x = -7x
-10+10+7 = 7
-7x = 7
shouldnt have a minus on the 'x' so put to the other side to make:
7x = -7

a million) -2(x+5)-7= 3x+ 2(x-5) -2x-10-7= 3x+2x-10 -2x-17=5x-10 -7x=7 (signal differences) x= -a million (i imagine that is the answer! no longer too particular!) 2) 3(4x + 2) - 6x = 5x - 5(2+ x) 12x+6-6x=5x-10-5x 6x+6=-10 6x=-16 x=-8/3 (examine those solutions) i'm too drained to do some thing of the sums!!! Please go examine the solutions with your acquaintances!!
