Can someone explain why my 2Gig nano comes up with corrupt file when i plug it in?

My ipod is black and purchased from argos. Anyone having the same problem or know how to fix it

try to restore it.

if you have itunes 7, just plug it in and on the screen it will give you the choice to restore it. that should put back the factory settings.

you may have gotten stuck with a remanufactured ipod. that means that someone else used it, returned it and they packaged it and sold it again. i would try returning it, if possible, if not, call apple and they should tell you how to clean off the bad file.
