Can I get 1 from a salvage yard & install myself or pay for install?

Check the upholstery shops that deals with cars. They are a major bich to put on. If you haven't done it before, I seriously doubt you can do it yourself...Lotsa luck...

I think all the Firebirds Convertibles were done aftermarket so it may be hard to find a top...

Finding a top isn't hard at all - just call your nearest auto upholstery shop (look in the Yellow Pages). If it doesn't exist as a pattern, they can probably make you one.

I doubt it will be less than $800, though...

They are reasonable and will let you make payments or take credit cards.

If one would not ask for information from who they have self belief to be God, they are no longer extremely thinking what's at stake. i guess the position maximum human beings variety is in what they provide theory to "information." i have self belief contained in the God of the Bible because he's the only one with solutions to ALL my questions.

if you get it from a junkyard and do it yourself, probably. if you have to pay for labor, that would be an extra few hundred.
