Does anybody know of some good web sites that show you recipes on how to make your own baby food??

I bought a book called First Meals by Annabel Karmel and really enjoyed having the book there for reference and they have some nice recipes that are good for baby/toddler and things your family will enjoy in the future. Depending on how old your baby is you will mainly be cooking/steaming fruits and veggies till tender and running them through a food mill or blender and straining them. I would then use ice cube trays and freeze and store the food in plastic bags for easy measurement and fast cooking. I made all of my own baby food and enjoyed doing it. Besides saving a ton of money I knew exactly what she was eating.

www.wholesomebabyfood.com
www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com
www.babycenter.com has a few as well

If you type in "homemade babyfood" in a search engine you will come up with tons of websites.

A great book is Super Baby Food, although the author is not careful about age appropriatness.

These are some ideas for you that I make:
Black beans and rice (I use the Gerber rice cereal because of the added nutrients)
Lentils with Gerber mixed oats
Chicken Noodle Soup
Pureed mixed veggies
Beef Vegetable Barley soup
You can even make your own going off of the jarred baby food like Chicken and Rice, etc.

I actually put table foods in the blender. ( I am not talking about sandwitches...) that's all. I thin fruit with a little juice, and I make a lot of soups. It's the best way to get veggies into your baby..

You are an excellent mother. I did that for all of mine too. Here are the sites. Always remember that everything has to be cooked. Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables will be too harsh for baby's little tummy. I wish you well.

I found this website pretty helpful when I was making food for my first son. I'm having to reference it again now as I begin to make more baby food for my youngest son now.

It can be pretty time consuming to make the food, but it is worth the effort in the end!

Who need recipes? Just mash your veggies from your own plate. Whatever baby sees mom eating, he or she will eat it too!

You don't need recipes, just a really good food processor.
