The Culligan Company is a direct sales outfit. This means that the only way you can buy a Culligan system is to suffer through an "in the home" sales pitch from "the Culligan Man". I did several searches and could come up with no pricing for their systems. The routine maintainance parts and pieces (ie: filters etc.) are priced and can even be found in some retail stores, but the price of a basic system is elusive.
Culligan is something like a franchise. A person can become a Culligan dealer in a particular geographical area. It requires a rather large investment. Prices for water softening systems will vary greatly depending on where you are located. Even then, since it is a direct sales type of company, you and your neighbor may buy the same identical system, and you will pay different prices. In many ways, the selling price is "whatever the traffic will bear".
I do not own a Culligan system, and I couldn't find any online system pricing information; so I can't give you a definitive answer to your question. Maybe someone who has bought a gold series system will spot your question and tell you what they had to pay for it.
Good luck with your search for information.

They have diffrent prices, but we bought one for 1500$ (Canadian), pretty well top of the line. We have a 24 month no interest plan. They did come down 500$ on the price. Do haggle or walk away! They are other outfits out there. We liked that there was a no fee removal and install and they gave us 16 bags of salt free. A rental install will be 150$ and cost around 30 a month with the 1st 3 months for 10 bucks.

You will pay less to install a culligan water system upfront. But with culligan you lease the equipment and pay monthly or quarterly. Do yourself a favor, find a private water treatment contractor and have them test the water properly and install a system that requires only one yearly maint. A softener would prob run you $1100-$1600 depending on size. Please do not use culligan.

"Please do no use culligan" is not a great answer. I would like to know why I should spend $1100-$1600 with no support or maintenance. If I am paying less for installation and service then why should I "not use culligan". We are considering both a water softening system and a RO kitchen faucet system and are weighing all of our options. What do you suggest other than "do not use culligan"?
