I want to shoot a video in which a girl read something out load to the camera. Problem is, I don't want to do it out of a house, and I don't want to do it at a library, which is where I thought of doing it initially....

So what other places could I go on a normal city in which I need a few minutes in silence and that isn't ugly....I would like a good background. But nothing outdoors...

Grr..this is getting more complicated than I thought.

Go to the lobby of an office building before people arrive for work, or after they have gone home, clear it with security first of course. Or, shoot it in a shopping mall--again before or after business, and cleared with security. Or shoot it in a quiet church, same procedure. Or a school, same. If you were to consider an outside shot, how about a park or a graveyard.
