I think you are in fine company. That's not incorrect English, I mean you are not alone. I'm sure you'll get lots of hits on this question because so many people feel exactly the same way. I work for a company that would rather fire a person and save the money by making everyone else work longer than try to expand their sales base and thus wash out the salary. How do I cope working for a copany I don't like? You laugh at it. I work for a man who makes twice what I do and knows half as much. On the other hand, if you are that unhappy, start looking now while you have a job. Use the commute as the reason you are "looking" for another position. Just don't quit till you have something else lined up and then be sure to give adequate notice that you are leaving. Good luck.

If you are unhappy, leave the job. Money is nice but (cliche coming!) it can't buy happiness. I left a job I HATED (same reasons as you, pretty much) after 14 years and took a new job about 2 years ago. Less pay but I can live on it. Less stress, less work, wonderful people who help each other instead of back-stabbing, nice (usually) boss. I no longer hate getting out of bed in the morning or dread going in to work.
Just make sure you can live ($$) if you leave the job and/or have something to turn to. Best move I ever made. Good luck.

It is called life. I hate my job and have for over forty years. Just go with the flow; develop in internal place you can go to and visit so you don't stress out. Remember that the only thing that is constant is change. Work hard and perhaps you will move higher up the ladder. Don't ever forget what it was like on the bottom rung of the ladder so that hopefully you can make others less miserable down the road.

Do you work at Mobis too? LOL I'm joking! Look for something else. If you are not happy now, chance are you will be happy 6 more months from now. If any other potentail employers ask why you left be honest. I think they would respect that you want a job where you are happy. If you are not happy, you are not going to want to give your best. Good luck!

You can't live your life based on what other people think. They don't live your life for you - you do. Do what you feel is best for you. But I suggest having another job before you quit this one - and give proper notice. Since it's a "good company" you don't want to burn your bridges.

I don't think a company you applied to closer would frown upon the fact that you realized you didn't like the commute and would rather work for their company. If anything they'd probably be flattered.

unfortunately I'm coping with a job I dont like right now.
if its a good company, and they have good benefits, it would be hard to leave. but there's no harm in continuing to look for a new job that you will be excited to be at.
