Try shops along the backstreets behind Tekka Mall. Also some shops in the 4th floor annex in Sim Lim Square. You can also look online in hardwarezone.

before you buy a 2nd hand computer, you must decide if you really need it as most recent software have problems installing into earlier computers.
if you are only using it as a moderate to light job on your computer, you need to find the software you need to use and read its requirements to run on the computer.
look out for computer tech-savy friend(s) who can help you in advice etc.
