I am not a conservative politically but a conservitave in most other aspects of life. I even dress conservatively.

What I don't understand is why so many conservative politicians are full of so much B.$.

I consider myself a realist and being a realist my beliefs tend to lean towards what others call the conservative side. I am a registered independent because the exisiting political party system sickens me.

I believe:

1. that a smaller government is a better government.
Less red tape.
2. this country was built on the foundation that all its citizens are
free to worship as they please therefore we should not be
trying to remove God from government offices and schools.
After all American currency says in God We Trust for a
reason.
3. that America as the richest and most powerful country in the
world is obligated to help other countries but that charity
begins at home. Homelessness must end. Poverty must
end.
4. that the laws governing immigration should be enforced to
the letter of the law.
5. that social welfare recipients should be obligated to serve
community service in order to receive a check. Here are
some ideas...graffiti clean up, highway trash clean up, beach
clean-up, national park clean up etc...
6. that education must become and remain a top priority in
America from now on or in my old age I may wake up one day
to find that the White House was traded to Japan for the latest
video game technology.
7. the legal system should be one of equality as opposed to
ones representation being the best one can afford.

I could go on for days but since time and space are limited I will end.

Reduce the size of goverment and cut wild spending programs that yeild no return .End the looting of social security to provide services never planned for .Treat it as a forced savings program and return the full amount at any time the person asks for it .
Let those who fail to plan be comforted by the knowledge they provide the example by there death from exposure and starvation as the motivation to secur your future today .That the government is not your mommy and daddy .You must take care of yourself and i am not responcible for you .

2. immigration control, protect American people from invaders,
close borders.
3. reform taxes, or flat tax
4. stop murdering babies
5. stop welfare, or have to work to get welfare
6. stop pork barrel spending
7. keep military strong, spend for military we will need it.

9. keep governments fat hands out of S.S
10. health care
11. keep jobs here, on import of foreign labor
12. keep auto industry here, with tax incentives
