If you read my past questions you will get the feel of what is going on.
1)I downloaded child pornography in 1996
2)I was arrested and served 48 months in federal prison
3)I was released after serving 85% for good behavior
4)I served 3 years supervised release
5)I am a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER
6)I married in 2003
7)We had a BEAUTIFUL baby daughter in 2004
8)She is now 2 ½ years old
9)My wife is freaking psycho (tried to kill me with a knife) – filed in a police report that is public – there is NO disputing this
10)She threatened to leave me and take my daughter
My wife and I have been in a custody battle since my daughter (and I say MY DAUGHTER because my wife? Is… well, you will see) has been 1 year old. My lawyer told me to expect the worst. Well, TODAY – Monday, October 02, 2006 the judge ruled. The ruling is that I (the registered sex offender) have FULL custody of the daughter.

My job is going to take me out of state so the judge ruled that I could FREELY move to my job and take MY daughter with me. My wife does have visitation, BUT she will not only have to come visit me (2000 miles away), but it must also be supervised. HALELLUJAH…
This town is in an UPROAR… I have no doubt there will be appeals, but my lawyer has reassured me that because my wife has shown EXTREME violence and that because my crime happened over 10 years ago (barely over 10… but nonetheless), I have nothing to worry about. This has made the area media with a storm and people are seriously TICKED off – doesn’t bother me because I will be gone in 1 week.
Now… HOW IS THAT FOR JUSTICE and karma… I did wrong… paid for my crime… have TRULY repented, now I see God is working in mysterious ways. I pity my ex wife and hope she finds true solace in something.

Just wanted to know your take on this because I know a lot of you are totally against registered sex offenders (no matter what they did). Because of that scarlet letter, you banish them from society. Well, at least one table has turned.

Well, let's see. According to your questions, 3 months ago you were gay, 1 month ago you were still addicted to porn and wanting help to stop. 3 weeks ago you seemed interested in the minimum "legal age" for relationships. Add to that some of the questionable things you have to say about women in general and I feel very very sorry for your DAUGHTER.

In looking at ALL the evidence myself ... the evidence that the judge obviously did NOT see, I'd say ... you my dear man (and I use that term VERY loosely) are definitely STILL a risk to children everywhere, yours included.
Lets have a look at the evidence ... shall we? Prior posts:
Is downloading child porn a felony? ... 1 week ago
Addiction to porn ... 1 month ago
Legal age for relationships ... 3 weeks ago
If a judge had access to these posts, without a doubt ... you would NOT have custody of your daughter. You obviously still have these "urges" and can't be trusted, to keep your hands off ANY small child. I wish I had the ability to e-mail your posts to the proper authorities ... with the end result being you losing custody of your daughter, and her being placed up for adoption ... with a loving family. I'd do it ... in a heartbeat.
You are a disgrace to the human race. *shudders*
BTW: In regards to your post "Is there a God?" .... you will NEVER be able to find out if there really is a God ... Satan, however, will love you.

Congratulations. Sex offenders rarely are cured. You seem to be the exception. If that is true, I wish you the best, if not, you WILL get yours. The judge is your case seems to have looked at ALL the evidence, unlike alot of people. Personally, as a victim of abuse, no punishment could fit the crime and that includes you. I can only hope for your daughters sake that all you have stated is sincere. Good luck with the rest of your life.

Sorry dude but all we've heard is your side of the story. Every story has two sides.
That being said, if the judge, who HAS heard both sides, gave you custody, I'll just say he knows better than any of us Internet goobers.
I'm not sure why you need confirmation from us. I just hope you have really excised your demons and can be a proper father to your daughter.

I am an excessively functional guy with an excessively functional mind-set. To me (without reference to all of the fancy theories), social justice approach that there's justice for each person/each organization of humans, without reference to the race, faith, fiscal situation, or social popularity. There is identical therapy earlier than the legislation for each person. Social justice may be approximately : Giving the proper to each citizen to benefit from the welfare of the state, to empower the weaker / the fewer lucky with a purpose to be equipped to perform the social and political pursuits. A social justice quandary would possibly come up whilst there may be discrimination (one other therapy) exercised closer to a person / a special organization in view that of its powerless state (as a minority, workless, homeless, bodily/intellectual handicap), whilst there may be deprivation of special rights to a special organization/magnificence of humans with a purpose to hold the one of a kind popularity some of the organizations. These are just a few examples from my aspect. You could get a much broader standpoint via shopping the web.

I'm with Big Ed. Hope you've saught MAJOR therapy because what you had is a sickness and time in jail doesn't make up for recovery. For the sake of your future and your child, keep leading yourself and her down the right path. Always look to the Lord for help. He's always there. Good luck to you sir.

i am not here to offend anyone but i will give my opinion, i do not think a registered sex offender has any right at all to have custody of a child however i also believe a violent psycho of a woman has no right either, i think the kid should be taken away to a better life personally.

There is something wrong with this ending. I'm starting to think your whole story is made up just to work people up. If it is true then for your daughter's sake, hopefully your sexual interest in children wont return, and she will grow up happy and safe.
