I believe that what they call plus size models are still not plus size models. I believe that woman are starting to stand up for themselves and say hey not all woman can look like a 14 year old girl and be old enough to drink at the same time. So No they are throwing in this hole plus size model thing and really the biggest woman is what maybe a 14 and she is tall so really she looks like a 8 or a 10 any way. I believe all woman are beautiful in their own way and when you find that beauty about someone that is what should matter but Hollywood says you have to look like a size extra zero so until we instill to people (MEN) that all people are beautiful no matter what we are going to have to deal with this matter of models.

It depends on you and what you like. I am a size one but I want to gain some meat. I don't like my size at all and I can't gain for the life of me. People tell me all the time I want to be your size. If they were the might be thinking the same thing I am. I have to just live with it I'm me and it wont change.

first if all, i think it is kind of ridiculous people are blaming the eating disorders of teenage girls on skinny fashion models. normal teeange girls do not watch runway shows. most of the population has never been to one, and honestly pays no attention to them. models are just convenient to blame.

and about the whole curvy model thing. this gets me mad as well. why are we condoning being fat?? my parents are doctors.. and they will tell you first hand that exercising and a healthy diet are very important. it is isnt too hard. if anything, we should make sure theyre are no "curvy" models. this is saying being fat is okay, and it's not. its unhealthy. ( i do agree with you however, the new 'curvy models' arent that large, compared to an average overweigh person)

people also think that every model has an eating disorder, or is unhealthy/unhappy. not true. i have been 5'10" and 120 lbs. since i was in 8th grade. i don't have an eating disorder. just as people claim beign 'curvy' is natural, being skinny for most models is natural too. i eat plenty, and i eat healthy. i exercise. im sick of people telling me im not healthy, or 'natural.' it hurts. in high school, i used to drink protien shakes and eat bars to gain weight,; yet of course i didnt.

most people need to realize models DO NOT represent the population. we model high fashion, couture clothing. most people do not wear that. if you dont wear couture clothing, dont pay attention to it and stop complaining about the models who wear it.

i think women need to be confident and feel good about themselves, as long as they are maintaing a healthy lifestyle.

i model for an agency in nyc, and this is a very touchy subject for me. lol, as you can see.

I think the whole thing is just stupid and it depends on your perspective. For example, I've always been pretty skinny but I've always wanted bigger boobs, wide hips, and a nice ***-- The stereotypical "hourglass figure". I think people should just learn to accept themselves. It's hard, but it beats being dissatisfied with a low self-esteem your whole life.

I think that nobody really expects "us" to model ourselves after women who make a living based on what they look like. It's nobody's fault but our own if we do.

I love a 'normal' attractive woman with a sense of humour. big boobs, nice bottom, gorgeous body don't mean a thing if they're boring.
