I have this packet to do and this is the only question that I don't know the answer to. Can anyone help me out? The options are:
a. England lost half of its population to disease and warfare
b. The ideals of chivalry lost popularity
c. An English national consciousness gradually developed
d. France ceded part of Normandy to England

C. Both the French and the English gained a national consciousness: the French because the English were actually invading them, and the English because of a constant threat that the French would retaliate with their own invasion.

A wasn't a result of the war, B wasn't true (although knights fell out of favor because they could no longer dominate a battle field), and D isn't true because France did not cede any of Normandy.
