Yes it is possible. I have numerous female friends. One problem that can ruin a platonic friendship is the body's production of pheromones. They are released into the air by every living creature as a way to attract a mate. Some people's pheromones don't like each other, but some do. When you have a chemical attraction, a platonic relationship becomes almost impossible. I have dated women, who are now some of my best friends. We found we weren't attracted physically to each other and the pressure was off.

I do believe it is possible for men and women to have platonic relationships but, only if more sensual feelings do not exist. Many times men and women form relationships as under the auspices of a friendship just to get closer to the other person.

yes and it could be the most informational friendship EVER! if there is no attraction then it is very possible... i have friends that i would never be in arelationship with, but they are great friends.you should try it for sure!!!!!!! you learn so much from members of the other sex... like when somebody is interested in you or what they like and don't like!

Yes of course it is. I have a older female friend who is attractive but one Key factor we don't fancy each other but as friends we really respect each other and offer advice and help each other. But hetrosexual people will always be attracted to the opposite sex (obivous really) but whether you remain friends is up to both parties irrespective of age!

in america we think its fine but be warned guys and girls r the same.they treat men like a penis in a jar.we treat women like tities in a jar.when needed-grab the hammer
