I hope so. At least Clinton was with grown women not underage boys. Also this cat wrote part of the bill that might put him behind bars. Nice guy for the head of the exploited children bill. Go GOP that's what you get for trying to be all inclusive. More gays ok but child molestors I think not.

Since he did not break any laws, exactly what do you think he should serve time for?

1 - The age of consent in DC is 16. The boy was 16.

2 - There was no sexual contact. The entire relationship was e-mails and IMs.

Robby216 is mistaken. It is far from certain that there were no laws broken. There doesn't have to be physical contact in order for there to be a crime. Sending sexually explicit material or messages to a minor, even if you just think they are a minor, is against the law.

FORMER Congressman Foley.

Who knows...but since he entered rehab you know he'll blame it all on the booze talking.

What a slimy, underhanded way of dodging responsibility. I should join rehab every time I EFF something up.

Well, if he committed a crime, sure. What crime is sending lurid email to an underage boy? Some minor type of sexual offense? Stalking? It's sick, perverted, disgusting, immoral and unethical, but I'm not sure how illegal it is.

He has to be tried first. We shall see. If there is validity to the claim, he needs to. No one should be above the law.

I don't think there are any laws about flirting with a teenager. It's sick, but I really don't think there are any laws against it.

No. All congressmen are issued a get-out-of-jail-free card at the beginning of their terms. Believe me, they all need one.
