Firstly I'd like to say that it isn't the clubs that are under investigation it is the managers of the clubs at the times of transfer; and also the agents brokering the deals.

{ Allegedly }
I would be very surprised if Blackburn are not one of the eight because Graham Souness was there for a number of years and he's dodgy. There must be something wrong with a Glasgow Rangers man paying well over the odds for players from Glasgow Rangers whilst managing premiership clubs. There are three I can think of who were and are crap but he still paid over £10m for all three together.

Lorenzo Amoruso
Alain Boumsong
Barry Ferguson (yeah he may be good in the Scotland Mickey Mouse League but he's no premiership player)

I'd like to see the details of those signings...

We need a big clearout and start afresh. A Football Enron perhaphs?
A bit of bloodletting may help. But when you investigate - what is corruption and what is normal business practice?
It is all a mess and the fans end up paying for the bungs
