The largest and most famous glacier is Malaspina Glacier on Yakutat Bay in Alaska.
The Mer de Glace and the Aletsch Glacier are in the Swiss Alps.
A notable glacier in Asia is the Muzart Glacier. It covers 1,036,000 kilometers (400,000 sq. miles), the size equal to the Rocky Mountains in the United States.
The world famous Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia, Chile is definitely one of the greatest sights in Southern Patagonia.
I just googled "famous glaciers."
If you try that, there are a lot more sites, too.

The Karakoram mountain range has two of the worlds longest glaciers-the Siachen and Biafo glaciers, apparently the second and third largest outside of the Polar regions.
