if you are sexually active you should go to the gyno, Get checked out and find out about birth control and STD. I understand about not wanting your mom to know your sexual at 17 . You could try a health department or a walk-in clinic. They are cheaper and usually give you free or cheap birth control.

That sounds like a rape abuse problem. That is not very healthy maybe you should get some therapy or something. Being raped is one thing, but you must make good choices after unlike the person did to you! You are way too young!!!

yes you should go to the gyno...when you start becoming sexually active, it's a good idea to get checked. and because you were raped earlier, you could have an std. so go get checked and make sure everything is fine!

Yes, honey, you NEED to be visiting your doctor for routine gynecological exams because you are sexually active. The exam is not that bad and it helps you to keep tabs on your sexual health. Plus, anyone having unprotected sex is at risk for STDs and you should be screened for them; many have no symptoms, especially in women.

I would go if I was you. I don't think they can tell your parents. They have doctor patient confidentiality.
