How does a person,(childhood abuse survivor) gain enough confidence to make a difference in important issues?

I really lack confidence in myself and I'm a real "what if" kinda a person. My views are very much black and white, right and wrong and I want to get my message out to people that nothing justifies doing something thats wrong, especially if its going to hurt someone in the process. Its not the means justify the end, its if you can get there without stepping on people to do it, thats real success. I feel and have been told that I'm being nieve and things arn't always black and white but why shouldn't they be when its all about choices!!

There is a gray area.....somethings do not always fall in the right or wrong category.

The best way to teach is to lead by example. Brow beating, harping and being a general pain in the butt just makes people tune you out. If you don't like the way things are going or are done, go about making a change. Do it with intelligence and charisma. Not by self righteous conceit.

Pro life- Pro choice... its not black and white... many considerations to to take into account on an individual basis

Pro -death penalty pro- life in prison..... depends on the heinousness of the crime

No, it is not right to molest/rape/murder/abuse children or people , mistreat animals, intentionally cause harm to other and a host of other absolute wrongs.


Every one has a standard in which they live by and yours might be higher than mine, your needs might be different as well as your morals, integrity, and view on life.

To insist that all others live by your standard is no less different than a dictatorship where free will and freedom does not exist.

You are the only one who can hold your self to a higher standard.
