No, I'm sure she's lying again. But Bob Woodward's account of the urgent warnings given by Cofer Black and Tenet 2 months prior to 9-11 will be more credible once one of them steps forward publicly to verify it.

RLP below says Rice doesn't have a track record of lies. Here's one of many. She said in January 2003 that if the US didn't invade Saddam soon, we'd see a mushroom cloud in the near future. There was NO intelligence that Saddam had a nuclear bomb, or that he was close to developing one. The National Intelligence Estimate at the time said he could have a weapon by the end of the decade, 2010 ! You think she didn't read it? She was National Security chief!

No, I don't believe her. At one point, I had respect for her, but that's completely been squandered with her many lies. It just seems as if they have now all subscribed to "keep telling the same lie, and eventually the people will believe it."

Dick Clarke and his assistant Paul (something) have both stated publicly that they passed reports on to Rice and her staff. It was verified that Tenet and Rice met in July about the possibilities of Al Quaeda attacks. There was that little document called: "Bin Laden determined to strike in America."

I really hope she'll just go back to playing the piano.

I going to answer in generalities, because I'm don't have time right now to research it.

That said Who was the Guy that Front line did a story on that cried AlQuida is coming for several years.

It seems like he had a Irish name similar to Muller. He was the CIA New York Bureau chief around the time of the First TT bombing.

Anyway the CIA ended up railroading him into early retirement just to get rid of him. It was like the CIA did not want to believe that AlQuida existed.

So that said it is most likely that there was not a strong warning to the new Whitehouse Staff.

Condi Rice is a Bush yes man, so you cannot expect the truth from her. Her boss sets the example of not telling the truth. Remember the weapons of mass destrution that were never found.

No.. Because I heard this awhile ago and it was shoved under the rug, wasn't confirmed or denied. Why would we believe our government these days anyways. We need a entirely new government, congress and all has got to go. I'm tired of the BS and Bureaucracy and the fact it takes a year and a day to get anything done. i want my representatives do what they say there are going to do. I also think the current REP/DEM system is NOT working. We need to get rid of the party system. all it does is waste time and detract from them affairs of the Government and causes them to lose perspective

I believe .... yes and no... the CI A could've told her what they wanted her to believe... CIA could've been misinformed or could've withheld information from Rice. Doesn't mean that she would've been told. No , b/c she could've been told, but the Higher Government told her to keep her mouth shut.

Government's always going to have secrets in order to keep the american public stupid and happy.

Not for a second..... she's protecting her job and her, um, boss' butt... Georgies little world is crumbling slowly, the truth will be told, over and over again..... Condi Rice (sounds like a side dish, doesn't it, like dirty rice, but with no taste) literally lies through her teeth......

I believe her. She has always come across as honest. What's your logic for not believing her? Is it simply because you hate Bush? What has she done to deserve your hate?
