This is what I do and I wear them almost every day.

Put on your regular makeup as usual including eye shadow.
I like to use a liquid liner to line the top of my lashes from corner to corner to hide any signs of the fake lashes after I put them on.
Let the liner dry completely before adding the lashes.

I take my eyelash curler and just barely bend my real lashes so they aren'y stick straight and this will help better camoflague later.

Then I take the lash off of the plastic piece and get my glue ready. I use waterproof glue cause I wear contacts and sometimes they get watery at bars.

I apply some glue a bead along the lash itself and then slightly blow on it for about 5-8 seconds then with a steady hand apply the lash as close to the base of your natural lashes as possible.

I use my eyebrow tweezers the holding end to tap the lash firlmy against my natural lash line. When all looks secure I open the eye and then slightly start to bend the fake lash upward so it opens up the eye. If you dont when it dries the lash will be pointing down on an angle and you wont get the big lash effect you are going for.

then when all feels secure I wait for about 2-3 minutes to ensure the one eye is completely dry. Then go to the next eye and do the same. The other eye always seems harder to do for some reason.

Then when all lashes are applied I take my mascara (maybelline waterproof, volumme express) nad apply 2-3 coats making sure to incorporate my natural lashes while brushing upwords into the fake lashes. If you dont when people look at you from the side they will see these perfect fake lashes and then yours underneath and it looks bad. EVen sometimes when my real ones dont want to stick to the fake ones after i get the mascara on b4 it dries I gently press the two lashes together at the base so it looks like 1 giant lash.

Practice makes perfect but this is a good trick to know. I wear all this esp at weddings and they never fall off or fall down, they are stuck there through tears and all

Good luck

When you have the lashes make sure they are not too long for your eyes, if they are trim them from the longest end first. Instead of just globbing on the glue directly to the lashes, put some adhesive on a toothpick so you have more control of where the glue goes. Start from the inside of the eye and gently lay them across your upper lashes. Remember they won't look right if they are too long for your eye shape. After they are snug, put on some waterproof mascara and you are set sweetie! Remember it takes some practice!

Your eyelid closes when something comes close in order to protect your eyeball. So start with your eyelid closed. Place the center of the lash at the center of your lid and gently press the line of the fake lash outward. Keep you eye closed and gently press the fake lash against your lid. It takes practice but you'll get it!

i love fake eyelashes,
anyhoo, there are kinds that have a "glue" for them and those should hold really well, i have some from "mac" makeup kinda pricy but u can use over and over and they are great, the cheap ones that come with glue on them already are garbage, like those
fake nails you buy at a wallgreens. splurge. in addition, its like learning ti apply liquid eyeliner; takes time and you have to get the
knack for it.
