i think they are less popular for two reasons:
1) gavin got whipped and settled down and has a family now.
2) gavins significant other continues to pump out crappy music
which is detrimental to his carreer as a musician.

I don't think that's the case at all. Just because they have the same name as a president that has a low approval rating doesn't mean that people don't like them. Bush hasn't come out with any new music or CD's in quite some time, and people tend to lose interest in bands that don't produce new music. Personally, I love the band Bush, but I hate the president. It would be nice if they came out with some new music, but that wouldn't make me like them any less or more.

You can only ride the fame of "Everything Zen" for soo long, and that time expired about 12 years ago. Life moves on, and another "one-album wonder" arises, just watch MTV for the latest one out now, in 1.5 years they're completely off the radar like Bush was.
