They're volumes of his favorite stories (not stories he made into movies). I've read three of them and all of them were overall pretty good. (Yes, some scared the crap out of me.)

Yeah, I have several of them myself, and I really like them. I usually pick them up at used bookstores or library sales. I think I've seen up to twenty (maybe?) different titles at one store. Maybe the publisher's website would have a list? That's where I would start.
